Oracal 751C High Performance Cast - Labeling film with the best processing properties
The Oracal 751C film series by Orafol impresses with its large color spectrum with 116 glossy colors, which are complemented by matt black and matt white. It is a cast high-performance film designed for long-term outdoor applications. With the Oracal 751C plotter foils you can effortlessly realize sophisticated vehicle and transport advertising. The film can be printed with different printing methods. All Oracal 751C adhesive films have excellent dimensional stability and excellent adhesion in beads and over rivets. With an Oracal 751C adhesive film you can easily refine both flat and curved surfaces.
Technical characteristics of the Oracal 751C film series
With a material thickness of only 0.06 mm, the color foils of the series have a very good flatness and best fitting behavior on straight and curved surfaces. A silicone-coated backing paper allows processing on all common cutting plotters and facilitates de-latticing even of the smallest fonts and designs. After bonding, the Oracal 751C PVC film has a shrinkage of only a maximum of 0.15 mm in the longitudinal direction. Depending on the color chosen, the label foil achieves a maximum shelf life of between 3 and 8 years when used outdoors. When used inside the film, durability is almost unlimited. Oracal 751C labeling films are flame retardant according to DIN EN 13501-1 and resistant to oils, greases and weak salts, alkalis and acids. A temperature resistance is given in the range of -50 ° C to + 120 ° C. The high-performance adhesive films are also largely resistant to seawater.
Instructions for processing Oracal 751C color films
The ambient temperature should not be less than + 8 ° C when bonding Oracal 751C High Performance Cast foils. Temperatures in the range of + 18 ° C and + 22 ° C are optimal. After bonding, greater temperature fluctuations should be avoided for a period of about 72 hours. For Oracal 751C films you can choose between wet and dry bonding. For transfer to the surface to be pasted, which must be free of dust, grease and dirt, papers and film tapes are suitable with medium to high bond strength. Be sure to use a suitable transfer paper for wet bonding. Oracal 751C films can be stored for about 2 years. After that, the optimal adhesion of the adhesive can no longer be guaranteed.
